Wow! The Opening Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics was absolutely amazing. I can't help but feel a bit of the nationalistic fervor even as I watched here in NYC. They prepped 8 years for this, and it must have exceeded expectations still. Watch at:

While I am a little disappointed I didn't get tickets to the Opening (they were ridiculously expensive, thousands of US dollars), I'm really excited now about going to Beijing next week!
