Taiwan!

So I managed to make it to Taiwan in one piece - the flight was grueling, as I tried to stay awake most of the time to align with Taiwan's timezone and reduce jetlag. On the flight, I ended having to finish some last bits of project documentation work for Opera on the plane, but now I'm finally done. I also discovered that my power cord for my laptop has a short circuit and no longer works. Fortunately, I managed to finish off all the work before then, but unfortunately, this means I won't really have much as much computer access as I had planned.

Anyhow, on the flight, I also met these kids randomly from Ohio (and other places). They were bored on the flight too and so they started scavenging/borrowing and not returning/stealing food on the plane.

I can't believe how old I am already...

In any case, if you haven't heard, I'm in Taiwan for a short term missions trip. The program is with ILT (I Love Taiwan) Missions, sponsored by the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church. We're meeting up in Hsinchu from 6/26 - 6/28 to prep and get our assignments before getting dispatched to churches all around Taiwan. We'll stay there until 7/9 before regrouping and debriefing in Taipei.
