Ambition

I want to look to you to guide my life, to be willing and able to follow what you have planned. Allow me to be open to your wisdom, and to enable me to make a difference in this world as you see fit.

I want to let go of my own selfish ambitions; entrust me with yours, and help make them my own. Help put my talents to suit your purposes, to make me great and useful for your aims. Take me somewhere, to wherever I should be; I shall not worry. My focus solely shall be to walk an upright path, do what is right, and try my best to follow the standards set by Christ. I look to you now just like Hannah, mother of Samuel, had so sincerely done in the past.
